Flowers as a form of welcome.
Laura is a floral designer working at the intersection of season, space, and ceremony. Her practice is rooted in a single conviction — that beauty, thoughtfully cultivated, shapes how people gather, connect, and feel received. Having lived and worked internationally, she developed a deep awareness of hospitality as a universal language. Across cultures and contexts, welcome may look different. But the instinct remains the same: to nourish, to gather, to honor. Flowers are one of its most direct and enduring expressions.
Her work spans weddings, private events, residential landscapes, and weekly arrangements — each considered within its full context. The room. The occasion. The people who will gather around it. No two commissions are approached the same way.
Each arrangement begins with the season — what is most exceptional at market that week, what is in bloom in her own garden in the South Bay. That garden is not incidental to the work. It is where much of it begins. Growing flowers alongside sourcing them brings a living, unscheduled quality to the designs — a color that only exists for three weeks of the year or a quirky stem that wasn't planned for. It is the difference between beautiful and singular.
She works with a limited number of clients each season — giving each the full depth of her attention. Weekly arrangements are available to order every Friday. Weddings, events, and private commissions are welcomed well in advance.
If you have a moment worth marking — or a table that simply deserves more — she would love to hear from you.
